Boys Basketball:
Pasadena secured a 63-50 victory over Valencia in the second round of the Damien Classic.
The Bulldogs used a 36-18 run in the second and third quarters to pull away.
Josh Irving had game highs in points (20) and blocked shots (10).
Irving went 9-of-12 from the field.
Troy Wilson added 15 points and six assists.
Desmond Every chipped in with 11 points, three rebounds and seven assists.
Steven Irons led Valencia with 17 points and Dabe Princewill contributed 16 in the loss.
Up next: The Bulldogs will battle Culver City (13-2) on Saturday at 6:30 at Ramona Middle School in La Verne.
