Girls Basketball:
La Salle improved to 14-1 after Friday’s 50-25 victory over Summit in the quarterfinal round of the Glendora Tournament.
The Lancers went on a 28-14 run in the second and third quarters to pull away.
Aislin Tamez Torres and Casey Higgins scored 12 points apiece.
Riley Higgins chipped in with eight points, while Maddy Chiang and Kaden Cortes contributed four points apiece.
Valerie Rivera scored 10 of Summit’s 25 points.
Up next: The Lancers will battle undefeated Flintridge Prep tonight at 8 in the GHS Tournament’s semifinal round.
