Girls Volleyball:
Thursday proved to be a very satisfying night for the GHS volleyball program.
And the Tartans didn’t just avenge a four-game setback on September 20th at Bonita.
They also took over sole possession of the Palomares League penthouse with one match to go.
And the icing on the cake for GHS had to be winning via sweep over a very talented and well-coached Bonita program.
Glendora won by scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 27-25.
Gianna Perez led the way with 11 kills and 18 digs.
Kendra Gonzalez added eight kills and 22 digs. ‘
Hailey Heflin contributed 12 kills and three blocks.
For the Bearcats, Ally Rohrer had four kills, five blocks and two aces.
Up next: GHS and BHS finish up their regular season schedules on Tuesday with road matches.
Glendora goes to second-place Ayala, and Bonita travels to winless Colony.
