Girls Volleyball:
Glendora, Bonita and Ayala all won on Tuesday to set up a highly dramatic final week of the 2022 season.
GHS and Bonita swept Colony and Claremont, respectively.
And Ayala picked up a 3-1 victory at Alta Loma.
With one week to play, GHS and BHS are tied atop the Palomares League standings, while AHS is just one-game back.
All three programs have two matches remaining, including Thursday’s first-place showdown between Glendora and Bonita.
But back to Tuesday.
Glendora swept Colony by scores of 25-13, 25-12 and 25-7.
Ella Dunaway had five kills, eight digs and seven aces.
Hailey Heflin contributed five kills.
Kendra Gonzalez added five kills and nine digs.
