Quotable:

Marshall Fundamental coach, Jeffrey Thai: “In a game where Arroyo sent over a ton of free balls to us, we weren’t able to take advantage of that as I would’ve liked. We had a lot of simple hitting errors, but we prevailed. Our serving finally got back to where it should be today. We will go back into practice tomorrow and prepare for what should be a great match against Gabrielino on Wednesday and hope to put up just as big of a fight as we did against them in the first round.”

Records: Marshall Fundamental (17-6, 7-1); Arroyo (3-8, 1-4)
