Arcadia Beats Burroughs for First Time in Five Years; Apaches Get 26 Combined Kills From Hoon & Savage

Girls Volleyball:

Arcadia hadn’t won a set against Burroughs in five years.

On Friday, however, the Apaches opened Pacific League play by sweeping BHS.

It was their first head-to-head victory since September 11th of 2018.

AHS won by scores of 25-23, 27-25 and 25-21.

Chayse Hoon led the way with 15 kills.

Ashley Savage contributed 11 kills in the win.

Zimming Wang added five kills and Megumi Green had 14 digs.

Up next: The Apaches host Muir on Tuesday at 3:30.
