Girls Volleyball:
Glendora had one more dress rehearsal before opening up league play on Thursday.
The Tartans edged visiting South Hills by scores of 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 24-26 and 15-12.
Hailey Heflin led as usual with 19 kills and two blocks.
Brooklynne Traficante chipped in with nine kills and five blocks.
Gianna Perez added nine kills and 13 digs.
And Kendra Gonzales had seven kills and 21 digs.
Up next: GHS will host Claremont on Thursday to open Palomares League play.
