Softball:
Torrance ended Glendora’s season with a 2-1 victory at GHS.
Ryann Orange went the distance to earn the win in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs.
Orange surrendered one run on five hits.
She walked two and struck out seven GHS batters.
Ashley Hibbard singled twice and drove in the Tartans only run of the game in the bottom of the third inning to take a 1-0 lead.
Elizabeth Lisk doubled and Allison Winovitch and Michelle LeFeve had one single apiece to account for the rest of the GHS offense.
Bridget Nemeth got the loss, allowing two runs on four hits.
Nemeth walked six and fanned nine Torrance batters.
Hannah Ramirez and Kaitlyn Wynia had one hit and one RBI apiece in the win.
