Softball:

Pasadena exploded for 13 fifth-inning runs and defeated Muir, 16-1, in a mercy-rule victory.

Jazmin Jaquez went all five innings to earn the win.

She surrendered one run on four hits, walked three and fanned three Muir batters.

Jaquez also did her part at the plate.

The Bulldogs freshman singled twice and scored two runs.

Maddie Fraer singled, doubled, scored and had a game-high four RBIs.

Alyssa Perez singled, doubled, drove in one run and scored twice.

Darla Bennett singled, had two RBIs and scored twice.

Violet Chandler had two singles, an RBI and scored three runs.

Kaylee McKenzie singled twice, scored and had three RBIs.

Isabella Armas singled, had two RBIs and scored twice.

Hannah McWade scored and had an RBI.

Elizabeth Salahuddin singled twice, drove in one run and scored a pair of runs.
