After starting Pacific League play 0-5, Pasadena has now won two consecutive games.

The Bulldogs claimed an 11-0, five-inning, mercy-rule victory over visiting Hoover.

Joe Bacon went the distance and allowed just two hits.

Bacon didn’t issue a walk and struck out eight Hoover batters.

Alejandro Concepcion went 2-for-2 to account for the Tornados offense.

Tony Torrez was stuck with the loss.

Torrez surrendered nine runs (two earned) on eight hits.

Torrez went 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one and served up a pair of home runs.

Justin Goldman and Casey Skett both singled, hit solo HR’s and scored two runs apiece.

Evan Coad singled twice, scored and had two RBIs.

Ben Griffith singled, doubled, scored two runs and drove in two.

Rene Salas and Ray Armas singled and scored.

Michael Duran singled twice and had one RBI.

Up next: PHS will travel to Hoover on Friday.
