After Loyola’s 7-4 victory over Crespi on Tuesday, the Cubs have already doubled their Mission League win total of a year ago.

Joey Frey got the win after five innings and allowing just one run on five hits.

Frey walked one and struck out five Crespi batters.

Henry Boylston got the last six outs, and allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits.

Boylston didn’t issue a walk and fanned three.

Lucas Gabay singled, doubled twice, scored and had an RBI.

Tyler Grenn went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Grenn got the loss for Crespi, after surrendering four runs (three earned) on four hits.

Grenn walked two and struck out three.

Adam Magpoc singled and hit a three-run shot in the bottom of the third inning.

Magpoc scored twice in the win.

Luca DiPaolo walked, singled, scored and had one RBI.

Walter Urbon singled, doubled, scored a pair of runs and had one RBI.

Donnie Morgan singled and scored.

Jackson Shea singled and had an RBI.

Carson Chavez walked and scored.
