West Covina picked up Valle Vista League victory No. 1 on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs cruised to an 11-4 road victory.
WCHS out-hit Diamond Ranch, 14-6, in the first of two VVL games this week with the Panthers.
Evan Buhac went three innings,and allowed one run on one hit.
Buhac didn’t issue a walk and struck out three.
Art Ayon provided three scoreless and hitless innings in relief.
And Kevin Jimenez surrendered three runs on five hits in his one inning of work.
Offensively, Steven De Luna doubled, tripled, scored and drove in three runs.
Evan Buhac went 3-for-4, with two singles, a double, three RBIs and three runs.
Jacob Nguyen singled, doubled and scored three times.
Victor Mendoza singled, drove in a run and scored twice.
Jacob Petino singled and scored.
And Edwin Segovia singled and drove in a run.
