Monrovia took over first place in the Rio Hondo League after defeating Temple City, 4-0, on Tuesday.
Donovan Lorenzini went four scoreless innings and scattered four hits to earn the win.
He walked one and struck out four TC batters.
Andrew Primucci finished off the Rams by going three scoreless innings.
Primucci surrendered thrve hits, didn’t walk anyone and struck out two.
Lorenzini helped his own cause with a two-run triple.
Anthony Chiovare went 2-3 with a pair of singles.
Jack Zinn doubled in Tuesday’s win.
Up next: The Wildcats will travel to Pacifica on Saturday morning.
