Baseball:
San Dimas picked up the two-game, Valle Vista League sweep of Charter Oak on Friday.
The Saints pounded out a 12-2, six-inning victory over the visiting Chargers.
SDHS out-hit COHS, 10-7, and took advantage of four errors that cost Charter Oak nine unearned runs.
Anthony Vasquez got the loss, allowing eight runs (two earned) on seven hits.
Vasquez went 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out five.
Jacob Gonzalez surrendered four runs (three earned) on three hits in just one inning of work.
Kasen Khansarinia singled twice, scored a pair of runs and had one RBI.
Robert Castillo walked, singled and scored twice.
Landon White walked, hit a solo blast and scored three runs.
Ryder Young walked, had two RBIs and scored.
Ayden Garcia doubled and drove in two runs.
Jake Ferretti homered and had three RBIs.
Tyler Pardus singled twice and drove in a run.
Vaughn Coleman doubled and scored.
Alex Ramos earned the win, going 5 2/3 innings and allowing two runs on seven hits.
Ramos walked two and fanned eight COHS batters.
Anthony Vasquez went 3-for-3, including a solo HR.
Evan Avitia singled and hit a solo home run.
Up next: SDHS travels to Northview on Wednesday and COHS heads to Covina.
