Glendora bounced back from Thursday’s disappointing loss at Ayala, and picked up a 2-1 victory over visiting St. Lucy’s.
Ashley Hibbard went the first four hitless and scoreless innings.
Hibbard walked one and struck out 11 of the 13 batters she faced.
Haley Ganino would close out the game with three innings of relief, allowing one run on three hits.
She walked two and struck out six.
Bridget Nemeth had a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth that scored Allison Winovitch and Ganino.
Michelle LeFeve and Ganino had the other two GHS hits.
Up next: GHS will host Chino Hills on Monday afternoon.
