College Baseball:
Mt. SAC trailed visiting Cerro Coso, 5-0, in the fourth inning on Friday.
The Mounties, though, got three runs in the bottom of the fourth, and one each in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings to pick up a 6-5, walk-off victory.
And the finish came in an unusual way, as Jacob Moreno drew a bases-loaded walk to score Will Bermudez.
Jacob Ortiz got stuck with the loss.
Ortiz went the final three innings and allowed two runs on two hits and walked four.
Down by five runs, Nin Burns hit a three-run shot to get the Mounties to within 5-3.
An RBI single by CJ Ontiveros in the sixth, and a solo home run from Will Bermudez in the seventh, helped MSAC catch Cerro Coso at 5-5.
Brent Cota singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Cristian Enriquez walked twice, singled and scored in Thursday’s win.
Brian Park went the first inning for Mt. SAC and allowed three runs on two hits and two walks.
Trent Merrill provided three innings of relief and surrendered two runs (one earned) on three hits.
Damian Torres and Hunter Holmes combined to go the final five scoreless innings.
Holmes didn’t allow a hit and got seven of his eight outs via strikeout.

Hunter Bagshaw singled twice and scored.
