Boys Soccer:
The Palmdale Aerospace Academy’s boys soccer program stayed undefeated on Tuesday.
The Griffins (13-0-1) got a pair of goals from Christopher Martinez in the first half, and a second-half score from Carlos Mendez, to edge Marshall Fundamental, 3-2, in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 6 playoffs.
Juan Villegas scored Marshall’s first-half goal.
And Eduardo Reyes capped his remarkable senior season with a second half score.
Rayshon Robert blocked five shots in goal for the Eagles.
The Mission Valley League co-champs finished 16-3-2.
