Girls Basketball:
La Salle didn’t get out to its customary 15-20 point lead at the half in Saturday’s CIF-SS Division 3AA opener against visiting Norco.
The Lancers took a six-point lead into the break.
La Salle, however, used a 30-12 second-half run, and claimed a 58-34 victory.
And La Salle extended its current win streak to 15 games.
Kaden Cortes (17 points) & Reese Wong (15) combined for 32 points and both Lancers connected on three 3-pointers apiece.
Audrey Chen scored 10 points and her big sister, Ellie chipped in with eight points in the win.
Cierra Gildersleeve led Norco with 16 points, and Fia Liaga chipped in with 10 points.
Up next: The Lancers will host Twentynine Palms on Wednesday at 7.
The Wildcats (18-8) defeated Silverado, 78-46, in their first-round contest.
