Girls Basketball:
La Salle coach Scott Wiard put it succinctly when he described Monday’s Camino Real League victory at Cantwell Sacred Heart.
“Balanced attack leads the way.”
It sure was.
Ellie Chen, Reese Wong and Audrey Chen each contributed 14 points apiece in the Lancers’ 56-41 victory.
It’s La Salle’s 11th consecutive win, and they improved to 5-0 in league play.
Ryann Riddle chipped in with 12 points in the win.
The Lancers hold a two-game lead over second-place St. Genevieve in the loss column with three games to play in the regular season.
Cantwell’s Leilony Cruz had a game-high 17 points and Khaiya Chumley finished with 10 points in the loss.
