Palomares League Wrestling:
Bonita improved to 3-0 in Palomares League matches Thursday after thumping their hosts from Glendora, 65-18.
The Bearcats won 11 of the 14 matches, including eight via pin fall.
Chris Casanave (106), Owen Calloway (120), Lucas Legaspi (126), Izaiah Huerta (138), Chris Ramirez (145), Grant Fabro (170), Michael Martinez (182) and CT Clancey (195) all pinned their GHS opponents.
Cole Parra (152) claimed a 16-0 tech-fall victory over Glendora’s Ruben Ortiz and both Tristan Fernandez (132) and Levi Hernandez (220) got wins by forfeit.
For Glendora, 160-pound Marquize Brown dominated Bonita’s Evan Loudikas from the start and picked up a first-period victory via pin fall.
GHS heavyweight, Andrew Grimaldi, finished the showdown Thursday with a first-period pin of James D’Angelo.
Jesse Jimenez (11 ) picked up a forfeit to earn six points for the Tartans.
