Boys Athlete of the Week:
What a week it was for the Glendora boys basketball program, and for its star senior, Noah Smith.
The Tartans won the Gary Prestesater Classic with consecutive victories over Patriot, Keppel, Paramount and Diamond Bar.
GHS entered the tournament 2-3, but thanks to Smith, Luke Jacobson and their teammates, the reigning CIF-SS D-3A champs had a terrific week.
Smith earned the Most Valuable Player honor after scoring a combined 93 points, and dishing out 20 assists over the four-game tournament.
Monday’s First-Round Game:
GHS 70, Patriot 52: 22 points, six assists and five rebounds.
Wednesday’s Quarterfinal:
GHS 50, Keppel 38: 20 points and four assists.
Friday’s Semifinal:
GHS 59, Paramount 57: 23 points, eight rebounds, three assists & three steals.
Saturday’s Championship:
GHS 64, Diamond Bar 59: 28 points & seven assists.
Boys Golf: The La Salle golf team closed the 2025 regular season in dominating form. The Lancers defeated Bosco Tech, 205-279, on Senior Night at Brookside Golf Course.
