Girls Basketball:
After nine days off, Glendora was finally back on the basketball court.
The Tartans headed out to Riverside on Monday, and they started and finished strong.
GHS outscored Hillcrest, 34-16, in the first and fourth quarters combined.
Unfortunately for the Tartans, the Trojans had a 41-20 advantage in the second and third quarters.
And Hillcrest would edge GHS, 57-54.
Hailey Schafer led the way with 17 points.
Rylie Anderson chipped in with 15 points for Glendora.
Up next: The Tartans will battle Heritage Christian today (Tuesday) at Providence High School.
The tip is set for 4:30.
