Flintridge Sacred Heart Wraps Up Fall Sports Campaign, Looks Forward to Winter Season

FSHA Fall Sports Wrap up:

Volleyball: placed 3rd overall in the Sunshine League and lost in the First Round Div. 2 Playoffs to Laguna Beach. The team persevered through several injuries including taking 1st place overall at the SoCal Invitational in San Diego. Outside hitter Peyton DeJardin earned AVCA High School All-Region team status and officially committed to play for UC Berkeley.

Cross Country: placed 4th overall this season in the Mission League. Freshman Mari Owen qualified for CIF prelims placing 28th out of 120 in Div.4.

Golf:  as a young team competed in the Mission League. The girls started off shooting 337 as a team and ended the season shooting 248.

Tennis: finished in 3rd place in the Sunshine League & lost in a wild card match. Also a young team and looking forward to next year’s season.

FSHA Winter Sports Preview:

Water Polo: began the season with three straight wins. This is Head Coach Carlos Ponce’s 9th year at the helm.

Basketball: started the season 1-1 including a recent win over Montclair High School to open the 10th Annual Mark Keppel Gary Houston Invitational.  The team is led by Head Coaches Ty Buxman & Wes Stewart at the Varsity level.

Soccer: Coach Kathy Desmond’s team will debut on December 1st vs. Mayfield Sr at the Glendale Sports Complex,
