Girls Volleyball:
La Salle is off to the CIF-SS Division 2 semifinal round.
The Lancers defeated visiting Beckman in four games.
La Salle claimed victory by scores of 25-18, 19-25, 26-21 and 25-22.
Dani Thomas-Nathan led the Lancers surge with 22 kills and four aces.
Ashley Li contributed 15 kills and four aces of her own.
Mikayla Hsieh had 41 assists in the victory.
And Avery Ward stepped up big time with 10 kills.
Up next: The Lancers travel to top-seeded Aliso Niguel on Saturday.
The Wolverines (25-4) defeated Laguna Beach in a five setter to set up a semifinal shodown with La Salle.
