Football:
Northview all but wrapped up the Valle Vista League championship on Friday night.
The Vikings picked up a 21-7 VVL victory at San Dimas.
All that stands between Northview and the outright championship is a victory next week against last-place Los Altos.
Jimmy Arellanes completed 11 of 18 for 159 yards.
Arellanes threw three TD passes and was picked once.
Erik Saiz caught three passes for 45 yards and a TD.
Steven Carlin had a pair of catches for 40 yards and a score.
Mike Cervantes had 29 yards receiving on two catches, and that included a TD.
Ronal Tebo carried the ball eight times for 76 yards.
Aaron Silva had three catches for 30 yards.
And Cheo Medina carried the ball 16 times for 70 yards in the win.
San Dimas got a three-yard TD run from DJ Williams in the first quarter.
