Girls Volleyball:
South Hills accomplished two things in Thursday’s Hacienda League finale.
First, the Huskies swept Los Altos and handed the Conquerors their first league loss.
Secondly, South Hills secured the league’s No. 2 spot for the playoffs.
SHHS won by scores of 25-16, 25-23 and 25-23.
Mia Delahoussaye led the way with 14 kills and seven digs.
Mia Moore chipped in with seven kills.
Jaida Zuniga added 25 digs and a pair of aces in the win.
Peyton Wright finished with six kills, eight digs and two aces.
Records: South Hills (15-7, 8-2); Los Altos (25-8, 9-1)
