San Dimas Secures 10-0 Path to a Valle Vista League Championship; Saints Pick Up Four-Set Victory at Diamond Ranch

Girls Volleyball:

San Dimas didn’t just win an outright Valle Vista League championship this week.

The Saints steamrolled their competition along the way.

SDHS wrapped up a perfect VVL run with Thursday’s 25-27, 25-16, 25-22 and 25-16 victory at Diamond Ranch.

In 2021, the Saints won 30 of the 33 sets they played in league.

The next closest was Diamond Ranch, who won 20 sets and dropped 15.

Kelsey Barrett had 12 kills, two aces and two blocks.

Alexa Guzman chipped in with 11 kills and two aces.

Ally Lemos provided 16 digs and Alyssa Gomez finished with 16 assists.

Up next: SDHS will get its first-round opponent in the CIF-SS playoffs tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 a.m.
