Arcadia Sweeps Burbank For Second Time in 2021; Apaches Improve to 8-1 in Pacific League Matches

Girls Volleyball:

Arcadia traveled to Burbank on Friday for a Pacific League showdown with the Bulldogs.

The first set took 52 points to decide, but from there, Arcadia took over and swept Burbank.

AHS won by scores of 27-25, 25-11 and 25-6.

Ashley Marrone led AHS with six kills, two aces and a pair of blocks.

Ashley Savage, Chayse Hoon and Olivia Ip contributed five kills each.

Chayse Hoon had five blocks and Ruby Ackerman chipped in with five aces.

Up next: Arcadia will travel to Monrovia on Monday for a nonleague match.
