Heading into Tuesday’s Del Rey League showdown at La Salle, the visitors from Bishop Montgomery were 3-0 in league play.
In fact, the Knights had dropped just one set in victories over St. Joseph, Mary Star and St. Anthony.
La Salle, however, made a statement by sweeping the Knights by scores of 25-19, 25-20 and 25-10.
Ashley Li had a match-high 16 kills and four digs.
Dani Thomas-Nathan chipped in with 13 kills, six digs and three aces.
And Mikayla Hsieh contributed 24 assists and two digs.
