Girls Volleyball:
What a solid week it was for the San Dimas volleyball program.
On Monday, the Saints swept West Covina to open Valle Vista League play.
And two days later, SDHS earned a four-set victory at Northview.
San Dimas won by scores of 25-19, 25-15, 19-25 and 25-15.
Franki Coleman led the way with 15 kills.
Kelsey Barrett contributed 12 kills in the victory.
Alyssa Gomez chipped in with 32 assists and six aces.
Northview entered the week as the eighth-ranked program in the most recent CIF-SS Division 7 poll.
Up next: San Dimas and Northview will both be in action on Monday.
The Saints host Covina, and the Vikings travel to Diamond Ranch.
