Arcadia got a real challenge from Pasadena on Wednesday night.
The Apaches, though, improved to -0 in Pacific League matches by defeating the Bulldogs in five games.
AHS claimed victory by scores of 23-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-19 and 15-12.
Cathy Shin led Arcadia with 25 assists.
Ashley Savage had a huge night in the win.
The Apaches freshman contributed 20 kills and six aces.
Olivia Ip and Sarah Ziming Wang finished with nine kills.
Up next: Arcadia will host Glendale on Thursday in another Pacific League match.
