West Covina Drops First Game, But Picks Up 4-Set Road Victory at Chino

Girls Volleyball:

After starting the season 5-0, West Covina dropped a paid of matches over the weekend to Providence and Flintridge Prep.

The Bulldogs got back on the court Tuesday at Chino, and dropped the first game to the Cowboys.

WCHS, though, bounced back and defeated Chino by scores of 19-25, 28-26, 25-19 and 30-28.

Beat Chino high school 3-1

Madi Schleif had seven kills, eight aces and 14 digs.

Madi Lujan added 10 digs in the win.

Arianna Pedroza chipped in with 11 digs and Natalia Lomeli had 14 digs.

Morgan Munns contributed 17 assists and 15 digs.

Jazmine Burnett had a .313 hitting percentage.

Up next: WCHS will travel to Los Altos on Thursday.
