Glendora Ends Regular Season w/17-0 Victory at Alta Loma; Tartans Finish Second in Palomares League

Softball:

Glendora will head into the playoffs with a little momentum.

They closed out the regular season with a 17-0 victory at Alta Loma.

The game lasted six innings.

Ashley Hibbard went four scoreless innings to earn the win.

Hibbard allowed one hit, walked one and struck out two ALHS batters.

Marissa Duarte went two scoreless and hitless innings and struck out one.

Offensively, Haley Ganino and Michelle LeFave had monster games.

Ganino went 4-for-5, with a double, home run, three runs and three RBIs.

And LeFave singled twice, homered, scored two runs and drove in five.

Ashley Waite singled three times, scored and drove in three runs.

Mackenna Coleman had two singles, an RBI and scored once.

Morgan Coleman singled and scored, and Allison Winovitch had an RBI base hit.

Ryan Speh went 2-for-3 and scored twice.

Elizabeth Lusk scored and had an RBI.

Sarah Arnold singled and scored twice, and Hannah Beyer singled and scored once.

Mackenzie Mackie singled and scored a pair of runs.

Bridget Nemeth singled, scored and had an RBI.

Up next: GHS will get its first-round opponent on Sunday morning at 10.
