Softball:
Etiwanda picked up the two-game, season sweep of Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday.
Miranda Roldan went the distance in a 4-2, Baseline League victory.
Roldan allowed two runs on six hits, didn’t walk anyone and struck out nine RCHS batters.
Jai’lyn Edwards singled and hit a solo shot for the Cougars.
Alex Garcia doubled and scored and Elicia Acosta singled twice for RCHS.
Macy Brandl got the loss after allowing four runs on seven hits.
Brandl went the distance and walked just one batter, while striking out eight.
Casey Fazzini doubled, homered and drove in two runs.
Elle Komara doubled twice and had an RBI.
Odyssey Torres singled and scored.
Alissa Castaneda singled twice and crossed the plate one time.
Up next: RCHS closes out its regular season schedule against St. Lucy’s.
And Etiwanda will host Upland.
Both games are set for Thursday afternoon.
