Softball:

Azusa won its 10th consecutive game on Tuesday.

The Aztecs claimed a 16-0, mercy-rule victory at Duarte in five innings.

Zyanne Diaz was saddled with the loss for the Falcons.

Diaz allowed 13 runs (nine earned) on eight hits over her four innings.

She walked two and struck out three Aztecs’ batters.

Angelian Correos went 2-3, with a double and grand slam home run.

Correos scored four runs and drove in six.

Juliana Canizales walked, singled three times, scored three runs and had an RBI.

Gwendalyn Rivas had an RBI double and scored three runs.

Raelene Rodriguez singled and drove in three runs.

Natalie Sosa singled and drove in a pair of runs.

Claudia Barron had an RBI single and Breanna Rodriguez singled and scored.

Isabel Batista singled, scored and drove in a run.

Iliana Cardenas went two perfect innings and struck out three and Juliana Canizales allowed just one hit over three innings and struck out six Duarte batters.

Carly Knoles had the Falcons lone base hit on Tuesday.

Up next: Azusa will close out its regular season on Thursday at Workman.

First pitch is set for 3:30.
