Maranatha picked up the three-game sweep of Valley Christian, thanks to Friday’s 13-1 beatdown in five innings.
Patrick DeMarco went three perfect innings and struck out three to pick up the win.
Jackson Hisey and Garrett McGuigan went one inning apiece and both allowed one hit.
Hisey and McGuigan got each of their outs via strikeout.
Cole Cacho-Negrete singled twice and scored for VCHS.
Calvin Peterson got the loss after allowing nine runs (five earned) on seven hits over 2 1/3 innings.
He walked two and struck out a pair of MHS batters.
Ryan Mittelman walked, doubled, scored and drove in a game-high five runs.
Dylan Zdunek went 2-for-3, with two RBIs and a run.
Ben Staub walked, scored twice and had an RBI.
Mikey Ebner singled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Cam Andrews went 2-for-2, with a run and RBI.
