Maranatha held its one-game lead over second-place Valley Christian thanks to a 4-1 victory at Village Christian on Thursday.
The Minutemen have three games to play, including one more with fourth-place Village Christian and a pair of games next week with last-place Heritage Christian (3-12, 2-7).
Mikey Ebner stole the show.
Ebner went the distance, allowing an unearned run on two hits.
He walked one and struck out 15.
Cade Nightingale singled, doubled and scored to account for the Crusaders’ offense.
Evan Kang got the loss, allowing four runs on three hits over his six innings of work.
He walked five and struck out three.
Dylan Zdunek doubled, scored and had an RBI.
Donovan Gonsal tripled, scored and drove in a run.
Bryan Richman walked twice and scored once.
Noah Camonte scored once in the win.
