Girls Tennis:
The Valle Vista League champs extended their season on Wednesday.
The Saints edged St. Lucy’s, 10-8, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs.
VVL MVP and No. 1 singles player, Natalie Arana, won two of her three matches.
And the SDHS No. 1 doubles team and VVL champions, Abby Bernhard and Mila Mattson, went 3-0.
Sophia Cabalfin and partner Sophia Albasha won two of their three matches for the victors.
Up next: San Dimas will host Jurupa Valley on Friday.
The Jaguars defeated Arroyo Valley, 13-5, in their first-round match.
