Baseball:
Travis Delgado sure left his imprint on Wednesday’s 9-1 victory over Gabrielino in a Mission Valley League contest.
Delgado went the first 5 2/3 innings to get the win, and allowed one run on three hits.
He walked five and struck out seven.
And at the plate, Delgado hit a three-run home run.
Gabe Mabee went 1 1/3 scoreless and hitless innings in relief for the Eagles.
Alex Chew walked three times, tripled, drove in one run and scored three times.
Nick Chew walked and scored twice.
Sam Karp had an RBI base hit.
Ethan Meyers had an RBI double and scored once in the win.
Jacob Hernandez walked twice and scored.
Up next: Marshall will travel to El Monte on Friday.
The first pitch is slated for 3:15.
