Northview took a week’s worth of frustrations out on Diamond Ranch.
The Vikings pounded the Panthers, 15-0, on Wednesday, to pick up their first Valle Vista League victory of 2021.
Ethan Galindo got the win after going three scoreless innings.
Galindo scattered three hits, didn’t walk anyone and got six of his nine outs via strikeout.
Tyson Patrick closed the mercy-rule victory with two scoreless innings of his own and striking out four Panthers’ batters.
Offensively, Dean Curley went 3-for-3, with a walk, four runs scored and three RBIs from the leadoff spot.
Andrew Baltazar doubled twice, scored two runs and drove in one.
Nick Peoples had an RBI triple and scored twice.
Nate Durazo and Andrew Olivas both singled, scored and drove in a run.
Andrew Paredes singled and scored and Ken Rodriguez had an RBI base hit.
Sal Batres walked, singled, had an RBI and scored twice.
Ivan Barragan singled and drove in a run.
Up next: The Vikings will travel to Diamond Ranch on Friday to pick up their sweep of the Panthers.
