Claremont Boys & Girls Tennis Wins Paolomares League Titles; Wolfpack Defeat Colony, 12-0, in Both Genders

Boys & Girls Tennis:

The Claremont boys and girls tennis programs finished Palomares League play undefeated.

The Wolfpack defeated Colony, 12-0, in both genders to claim the league championship.

Girls:

Goldie La and Caren Uribe, the Claremont No. 1 & 2 singles players respectively, each went 2-0, and won their matches 6-0 and 6-0.

Jahday Drewery (No. 3) claimed victories of 6-1, and 6-0.

The Wolfpack doubles went 6-0 in their matches and had just one set where Colony won a single game.

Sydney La teamed up with Eli Gonzalez at No. 1 doubles and they easily defeated their Titans opponents, 6-0, and 6-0.

Kareen Holstrom and Gillian Magallanes earned wins of 6-1, and 6-0.

Boys:

The Claremont boys program defeated Colony, 12-0.

No. 1 Joey Anagnos went 2-0 with scores of 6-0 and 6-3.

Lucas Rival (No. 2) earned a pair of 6-2 set victories and Jason Ngo and Shang Lim played one match apiece at No. 3 and won both by the same 6-0 score.

No. 1 doubles (Caleb Settles/DJ Brownlee) won 6-0 and 6-1.

No. 2: Lance Lao and Aidan Poopat claimed victories of 6-1 and 6-0.

At No. 3, Nathan Kim and Brody Bohren won 6-0 and 6-0.

Girls League Finals will be held at Claremont on Monday.
