Fast forward seven days, and SHHS dropped a 2-1, Hacienda League opening game to their visitors from Walnut.

Sterling Patick would provide six innings of scoreless relief.
He allowed three hits, walked three and struck out six Mustangs’ batters.
Kyle Calzadiaz singled, doubled and scored.
Ayden Piedad and Kevin Rubio had one RBI apiece for Walnut.
Jojo Russo went the distance, allowing one run on four hits.
Ethan Lee’s sac fly scored Yanez for the lone Huskies run on Tuesday.
Jeremiah Sibrian, Evan Burns, Andrew Ramirez and Patick had one single apiece to account for the South Hills offense.
