Baseball:
After exactly two weeks off due to COVID-19 protocol, Arcadia finally got back on the baseball field.
And Casey Spencer and his boys picked up right where they left off.
Spencer went the first three scoreless innings and the Apaches grinded out a 6-0 victory at Hoover.
He allowed one hit, walked two and struck out six to pick up his fifth win of the season.
Gabriel Lopez went one inning and struck out one, Harrison Meyers got five of his six outs via strikeout and Julian Eskridge closed out the Tornados.
Offensively, Matthew McIntire singled and hit a solo home run.
Brandon Nguyen tripled and scored.
Mikey Easter and Julian Eskridge each had one double, run scored and RBI.
Daniel Chavez doubled and drove in two runs.
Alex Dolan singled, scored and had an RBI.
Up next: Arcadia will host Hoover on Friday.
First pitch is set for 3:30.
