The Wolfpack’s Aiden Ross got the loss.
Ross allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits over his 2 1/3 innings of work.
He walked two and struck out three.
Gabriel Rico doubled and drove in two runs.
Chris Ceballos singled twice and scored both times.
Evan Avitia and Aaron Osorio both walked and scored.
Anthony Vasquez and Dave Montoya had RBI singles.
Diego Ortiz was solid, going five innings and allowing one run on three hits.
He walked one and struck out three.
Isaiah Alvarez worked the final two innings to secure the save.
Alvarez was charged with an unearned run on one hit.
He didn’t walk anyone and struck out one Wolfpack batter.
Louie Allen singled and scored and Daniel Rios had an RBI base hit for Claremont.
Aiden Ross singled and Jacob Klinovsky doubled in the loss.
