Baseball:
San Marino earned the Rio Hondo League’s No. 3 seed, and they finished their regular season with a 10-5 victory over Temple City on Wednesday.
The Titans will enter the postseason having won three of their last four and 10 of their past 13 games.
SMHS led 8-0 before TCHS scored one run in the top of the fourth and four runs in the fifth.
Devon Cobb got the loss after allowing nine runs (three earned) on seven hits and three hit batters over 3 1/3 innings.
Cobb issued three walks and registered two strikeouts.
Parker Wilson walked, was hit by pitch, hit a solo home run and scored a pair of runs.
Charlie Danenhauer walked, was hit by pitch, singled, doubled and scored three times.
Aldo Cali went 2-for-3 with a walk, double, two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Drew Wilson walked and singled.
Mitzio Matzumoto singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Nathaniel Eberwein walked, singled, scored and drove in a pair of runs, including one via sac fly.
Chase Mena walked, singled in a run and scored.
Miles Morning singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Drew Wilson walked and singled.
JT Lu-Morris went four innings to earn the win, and he surrendered two runs on six hits.
Lu-Morris didn’t issue a walk and registered four strikeouts.
TCHS got to Ryan Smith for three runs on three hits and four walks over two innings.
Smith registered three strikeouts.
Alex Lumino got two of his three outs in the seventh via strikeout.
Nicholas Palomo went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.
Peyton Navarat drew a pair of walks and scored.
Nate Platon singled twice and scored.
Joshua Cooper went 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.
Nathan Martinez walked, singled and scored.
Josh Jones, Andy Kobayashi and Bodie Kelley had one single apiece.
Gavin Hang had an RBI ground out.
