Baseball:
Etiwanda’s Baseline League victory tour continued on Monday at Upland.
The Eagles dominated their way to a 12-0 victory.
They out-hit the Highlanders, 10-4, including a 4-0 advantage in extra-base hits.
Etiwanda is now 12-1 in league games and they’ve outscored their Baseline competition, 129-44.
Elliot Cresap got the loss after surrendering five runs (four earned) on one hit, five walks and a hit batter over 1 1/3 innings.
Cresap fanned four.
EHS got to Joseph Moreno for five runs on six hits and one hit batter over four innings.
Moreno issued two walks and registered a pair of strikeouts.
Angel Mejia went 4-for-5 with three runs and five RBIs.
That included an RBI single, a two-run single and a two-run home run.
Mejia also doubled.
Jaxson Milius had a two-run double and RBI ground out and scored once.
Adam Ornelas singled, scored a pair of runs and drew a bases loaded walk.
LJ Roellig walked and singled.
Derick Kim drew four walks, including once with the bases loaded and scored a pair of runs.
Landon Durmisevich doubled and James Milam singled.
Luke Severns walked and scored.
Peyton Ramos and Frank Gonzales scored one run apiece.
Noah Frias went six scoreless innings to earn the win and scattered four hits.
Frias issued one walk and registered nine strikeouts.
Charles Stube retired the side in the seventh.
Carson Kinnick, Tommy Lopez, Elliot Cresap and Andrew Weber had one hit apiece for UHS.
