La Canada had one final nonleague contest before facing Monrovia in the final week of the regular season.

And the Spartans pounded out an 11-8 victory over their visitors from Pasadena on Saturday.

LCHS out-hit PHS, 14-7, including a 4-1 advantage in extra-base hits.

Cyrus Garroway was charged with three runs on four hits over two innings.

Garroway walked one and struck out one.

Aaron Martinez went one inning, and he surrendered three runs on five hits.

Martinez didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.

Jayden Mendoza allowed four runs on four hits in one inning of work.

Mendoza walked two and fanned a pair of Spartans.

Joe Bell went 3-for-4 with two runs with a double and a solo home run.

Ethan Wong singled three times, doubled and had a pair of RBIs.

Austin Loughrin drew a pair of walks, singled, scored three times and had one RBI.

Finn Flowerhogan walked, singled and scored two runs.

Ross Piken went 2-for-2, was hit by pitch, walked, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.

Brandon Mohaghegh was hit by pitch, singled, scored and drove in two runs.

Lucas Lee drove in a run on a sac fly.

Benji Geller and Gavin Franklin had one RBI single apiece.

Nick Pieper went three innings and he was charged with three runs on two hits and four walks.

Pieper struck out two.

Benji Geller was credited with the win after going three innings and allowing one run on two hits.

Geller issued one walk and registered four strikeouts.

Pasadena got to Scott Burns for four runs on three hits and four walks in the seventh inning.

Bruno Pierandozzi went 2-for-3 with a walk, double, run and one RBI.

Dylan Derosier drew three walks and scored a pair of runs.

Reese Kim singled, scored and drove in a run on a sac fly.

Maximus Reynolds went 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI off a sac fly.

Jayden Mendoza drew a pair of walks, drove in a run on a sac fly and scored.

Leo Garroway had an RBI single in the top of the seventh.

Jackson Bradley drew a bases loaded walk and scored.

Up next: La Canada travels to Monrovia on Monday, and Pasadena visits South Pasadena on Wednesday.
