Baseball:
Muir secured the two-game Pacific League sweep over Burbank.
The Mustangs claimed victories of 13-3 and 4-2 on Tuesday and Friday, respectively.
Muir scored single runs in the bottom of the first, third, fifth and sixth innings.
Sergio Rodriguez got the win after going five innings and allowing a pair of unearned runs on three hits.
Rodriguez issued two walks and registered six strikeouts.
Ezekiel Rodriguez provided two scoreless and hitless innings in relief to earn the save.
He didn’t give a free pass and struck out four BHS batters.
Luka Kuiper and Brandon Hernandez singled and scored one run apiece.
Andru Machado doubled and Julian Recinos singled in the loss.
Ryland LeClair was charged with three runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks over five innings.
LeClair struck out three Muir batters.
Kahlil Rishwain drew a pair of walks, singled, scored twice and drove in one from the leadoff spot.
Lawton Gray was hit by pitch, doubled and scored.
Sergio Rodriguez walked and his RBI double in the fifth gave the Mustangs a 3-2 lead.
Ezekiel Rodriguez walked and singled in a run.
Brandon Figueroa singled and Colton Franklin scored in the win.
Up next: The Mustangs host Duarte on Tuesday morning at 10.
