Boys Hoops:
La Salle won its fourth consecutive Santa Fe League contest on Friday night.
The Lancers secured a 50-40 victory at Paraclete.
Leading by four points, La Salle closed out the game on a 16-10 run in the final eight minutes.
The Lancers had a 5-3 advantage in 3-pointers.
Cody Divens finished with 11 points and five rebounds.
Kristupas Miselis chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Miselis scored nine of La Salle’s 16 fourth-quarter points.
Cane Ortiz provided eight points, three assists and three rebounds.
Michael Washington scored a game-high 13 points for Paraclete, and that included three 3-pointers.
Calieb Roman (8) and Romeo Arutunyan (7) combined for 15 points in the loss.
Up next: The Lancers battle Rancho Mirage on Saturday at 1 at Arcadia in the MLK Showcase.
And they’ll resume league play on Monday at St. Genevieve.
The tip is set for 7.
