Boys Hoops:
Glendora claimed its first Palomares League victory of the 2025-26 season.
The defeated their hosts from Diamond Bar, 65-60, on Wednesday evening.
DBHS had an 11-7 advantage from beyond the 3-point arc.
The Tartans led 32-27 at the break, and the second half would be dead even.
Glendora converted on just 12-of-26 from the free-throw line.
Jeremiah Garzon scored a game-high 21 points to go with 10 rebounds and an assist.
Max Hilgenfeldt chipped in with 16 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, three rebounds and three assists.
Noah Rangel hit a pair of 3’s, and he finished with nine points.
Tanner Grable added six points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Moshe Loucks hit a pair of 3-pointers to score six points, and he grabbed three rebounds.
Ezekiel Alegado led Diamond Bar with 19 points, including a game-high five 3-pointers.
Jacob Kim (14), Ayden Ellis (11), Jedi Chow (10) and Demi Sobiye (6) combined to score 41 points in the loss.
